Demonstrated at the SAE `97 show in Detroit was the Autothane microcellular elastomer developed by Hyperlast specifically for use in automobile suspension systems.

Autothane is already used in a range of Rover vehicles and is also being employed in Scandanavia for heavy duty truck suspension.

Licensees are producing Autothane components in Great Britain, Malaysia and China, with another in Korea coming into production in 1997.
