Browser speeds up electrical design

Electro-mechanical design involves engineers from several disciplines, but if the design and documentation can be stored in one place, the potential savings are vast. DDS-C from CoCreate Software, a division of HP, handles circuit diagram design, cabinet layout design, documentation and manufacturing, and integrates straight into the mechanical CAD environment.

The latest version, 6.0 now includes redlining and viewing products, as well as support for VRML, on all Microsoft Windows platforms. With a new Browser, schematic drawings can be printed on demand, while powerful search and highlight capabilities support the user when viewing circuit diagrams.
