Cella Energy establishes US office at Kennedy Space Center

Cella Energy, a member of the Nanotechnology Knowledge Transfer Network (NanoKTN), is now working with NASA, having established a US office in Florida’s Kennedy Space Center (KSC).

The Rutherford Appleton Laboratory spin-out presented at the NanoKTN’s Nano4Energy event in 2011, and met with collaborative partners for its hydrogen storage technology.

The company made a number of contacts at the event, one of which resulted in finding and appointing a new chairman — ex-BP board member Bryan Sanderson — and the formation of a wholly owned US Cella Energy office after securing investment from Space Florida and a project with the UK’s Technology Strategy Board.
