CNC machinery provider UEN relocates to Shrewsbury

Shropshire-based Armstrong UEN, which designs and manufactures bespoke Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) milling and cutting machinery, is expanding its operations after relocating from its former Battlefield head office to a larger office and workshop space on the Greenwood Industrial Estate in Shrewsbury.

Spearheaded by 24-year-old entrepreneur and University of Wolverhampton graduate Peter Richards, the company provides a range of scalable, computer-controlled equipment designed for machining materials and plasma cutting metals, although it can also be used on a variety of other materials, including plastics, woods, waxes, light tooling materials and foams.
