Alstom’s ALSPA MV3000 – on show at Drives & Controls – is a physically compact variable speed drive with 60% fewer components than the previous generation, offering gains in reliability, serviceability and expandability. A key feature of the drive is its keypad, which can be mounted on the inverter, on a cubicle or hand held. Completing the user friendliness of the device, its back-lit display uses real words, not codes, and on-line help facilities such as a quick set up guide are built in.
