Buying a safety products company

Rockwell Automation, a business of Rockwell International (NYSE:ROK), has announced its acquisition of EJA Engineering, a manufacturer of safety products sold under the brand names Guardmaster, Nelsa and Sigma Controls. With 24 years in the industry, EJA gives Rockwell Automation a stronger presence in the safety market with control products such as interlock switches, safety relays and machine guarding systems.

Export order for Chinese market

The liquid handling division of Permex, in association with GEI FCL, has supplied filling systems which will form part of a complete oil packaging facility for Shell Tianjin of China.

Combining ability brings solutions

Redditch based industrial hydraulics specialist, H+L Hydraulik Ring, has joined forces with German hydraulic manufacturers Hartmann + Lammle (H+L), to bring a new range of innovative, high quality, hydraulic solutions to the UK, to be marketed under the new operating name of H+L Hydraulic, as H+L’s wholly owned subsidiary.

AID buys Eurelec

Air Industrial Developments (AID), specialists in automated systems, has purchased Hucknall based Eurelec, who produce a range of soft-starters and inverters, from the EIS Group and is transferring operations to Aldridge. Key personnel are relocating to the area. The company will be known as the EMB Eurelec Division of AID.
