Computer Sciences Corporation lands $87 million contract extension

Computer Sciences Corporation has announced that its operations in Australia have won a four-year, $87 million extension of its Cluster 3 contract with the Australian Federal Government.

Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) has announced that its operations in Australia have won a four-year, $87 million extension of its Cluster 3 contract with the Australian Federal Government.

The extension starts on July 1, 2003 when the original five-year agreement runs out and covers a variety of services for the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA), the Australian Electoral Commission and IP Australia.

Under the agreement, CSC’s Australian operations will continue to provide services including mainframe and mid-range, desktop computers and help desk support.

The decision follows a six-month evaluation, a review of CSC’s service delivery track record and an independent assessment of the extension’s terms for fair value comparison.
