Contract for Cape

BHP Billiton has awarded TCC a contract renewal for maintenance services on the Worsley Alumina site in Western Australia


BHP Billiton has awarded TCC, a subsidiary of Wakefield-based energy sector service provider Cape, a contract renewal by to perform a full range of fabric maintenance services on the Worsley Alumina site in Western Australia.



The contract, which is worth approximately £14.3m over three years, comprises the renewal of the existing contract for specialist coatings and insulation, and the provision of scaffolding services.



The contract will be carried out at TCC’s facility in Kwinana, Western Australia.



Martin May, Cape’s chief executive, said: ‘We are delighted to have been awarded this contract by BHP Billiton to work on one of their major assets and look forward to further developing our relationship as our expansion of bundled support services in the Australian market continues to grow.’
