DuPont expands in the East

DuPont worked with South Korea's Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy Dr. Hee-Beom Lee and several Korean organisations, including the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, in securing the agreement, the company's latest move in Asia Pacific.

Earlier this year, DuPont opened its corporate research and development facility near Shanghai to support growth in the Asia Pacific region. Last month, DuPont announced a research agreement with the National Chemical Laboratory in India.

DuPont Nonwovens, part of the DuPont Safety & Protection business, is a supplier of nonwoven selective barrier brands and products to the health care, construction, personal protection, home furnishings and packaging industries.
