Rockwell Automation describes Allen-Bradley’s DriveExplorer Software as a powerful and simple means of using a PC to monitor and configure Allen-Bradley drives and communication adapters.
DriveExplorer runs under Windows 95, NT and CE. It reduces commissioning time and programming time by allowing multiple drives to be ‘cloned’ with the same program. It can store drive parameters, speeding up drive replacement. For networked solutions, DriveExplorer can be used with DeviceNet or ControlNet to communicate with a number of drives.
