EJOT UK has a new man at the helm for 2008. Chris Middleton has been appointed by the international fastener manufacturer to head it’s UK operation with a remit to further develop its positioning as a niche provider of innovative solutions to industrial and construction markets.
Born and educated in Leicestershire, Chris arrives at EJOT with over 30 years of engineering manufacture experience, much of that time managing innovative R & D projects for aerospace, defence and general engineering applications worldwide.
He was International Sales Director for FKI’s tooling division which incorporated Clarkson Tools and Osborn Mushet Tools.
In 2002 Chris became Managing Director of Sheffield based Gripple Ltd, winning the best factory in Britain award presented by the prestigious IMECHE for Manufacturing Excellence.
Enthused by his new challenge Chris said,
“EJOT UK has been expanding its two main divisions in the Building and Industrial sectors in recent years; with the introduction of new Technical innovative solution based fasteners the future is very exciting for the companies continued growth”.
The EJOT group employs 2200 people world wide with 26 sales offices in its global network and 9 manufacturing sites including the UK operation.
