Multimedia company Espro Information Technologies, which specialises in audio guides for exhibitions and museums, has announced a number of recent contract wins.
The Israeli company, whose UK headquarters are in London, secured a contract in a competitive bid to supply audio and multimedia tours through its Opus handsets under a long term agreement for Cardiff Castle.
The company is supplying an audio tour in English and Mandarin at the Victoria and Albert Museum to support of the ‘China Design Now’ exhibition from the 15th March – 13th July 2008.
Espro is also developing downloadable tours of the South Bank area of London and London’s West End for the London School of Economics, which will be available to download free from iTunes and Espro’s website.
Internationally, Espro has had a long-term contract renewed for the Forbidden City in Beijing; it is developing content for the National Taiwan Museum in Taipei and has had a long-term contract with the National Centre for Traditional Arts, Taiwan, renewed.
Israel Gal, CEO of Espro Information Technologies said: ‘I am delighted to be able to announce such a diverse selection of new contract wins, demonstrating the group’s global footprint and broad product range. Of particular note are the two content agreements with the London School of Economics and the National Taiwan Museum in Taipei. We believe there will be a growing demand for the development of downloadable multimedia content and that Espro is well positioned to capitalise on this trend.’
