Evance installs small wind turbine at energy centre

Evance Wind Turbines, a manufacturer of small wind turbines, has been selected by CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, to install a 5kW turbine at its energy research facility.

CSIRO — the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation — operates its energy centre as a scientific research facility, focused on new energy technologies.

The recently installed Evance R9000 wind turbine will be used for research, as well as to provide a renewable energy source for the centre.
