Flextronics, an electronics manufacturing services provider, has announced financial results for its first quarter ended 2 July 2010.
Net sales increased 14 per cent to $6.6bn (£4.3bn) compared to net sales for the quarter ended 3 July 2009 of $5.8bn.
Adjusted operating income increased $100m or 111 per cent to $190m, compared to adjusted operating income of $90m for the same quarter year ago.
Adjusted net income was $154m, an increase of $91m or 144 per cent, and adjusted EPS increased $0.11 or 138 per cent to $0.19, compared to $63m and $0.08, respectively, for the same quarter last year.
GAAP operating income, net income and EPS were all up significantly year over year.
