Fokker Elmo and SADRI sign ARJ21 co-operation contract

Fokker Elmo, part of Fokker Technologies, has signed a contract with Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute (SADRI) to co-operate on the ARJ21 aircraft electrical wiring and interconnection system (EWIS).

During the past year, Fokker Elmo and SADRI, a subsidiary of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), have been working together on the complex requirements of the EWIS.

The co-operation will commence in early 2013 and will predominately be performed at the SADRI facilities in Shanghai. The activities will involve the current ARJ21 EWIS evolution to meet the international CAAC, FAA and EASA EWIS standards.
