Fujitsu Services is investing £3.2m in a new Centre of Excellence for its Oracle operations in Belfast, which will help the company provide Oracle eBusiness Suite solutions across Europe.
RDA Invest NI is investing £150,000 in the project which will create 30 new skilled jobs at the Belfast centre over the next two years. This will include both technical and business focussed roles delivering across multiple business sectors within Europe.
Michael Crow, head of Fujitsu’s application services in Northern Ireland said: ‘As one of the largest independent providers of the Oracle eBusiness Suite services we are witnessing significant growth in our primary markets. In response to this market opportunity and given the competitive advantages offered by Northern Ireland we have selected Belfast as the location for a new specialist hub that will centralise future development and support growth. We are confident that the availability of a highly skilled workforce, combined with Invest NI’s continued support, will provide a firm foundation to enable us to fully develop our Oracle Practice in Northern Ireland.’
