American aerospace and defence company Boeing and GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) have finalised an order for 10 777-300ER (extended range) aircraft.
The order is worth approximately $2.8bn (£1.7bn) at list prices.
The new 777-300ERs will help GECAS meet growing airline demand for long-haul passenger aircraft.
With today’s announcement, GECAS has ordered 53 777s, including 41 777-300ERs.
