GTMA invests in the future via CDROM

In an attempt to address Britain’s engineering skills shortage, the GTMA (Gauge & Toolmakers Association) has produced an interactive CD-ROM that will be sent for free to every secondary school in the country. Thought to be an industry first, the CD-ROM is specifically targeted at 13 and 14 year olds and is designed to present toolmaking as an attractive career choice for school leavers. The package focuses on six product areas that are dependent on the gauge and toolmaking industry – from mould tools for packaging to light clusters for the automotive industry.
