Entropie has secured a contract worth £1.5 million to supply four high capacity absorption heat pumps to the Lithuanian state company UAB Geoterma for the geothermal site at Klaipeda. The pumps will produce 50MW of heat for what will be the biggest plant of its type in the world. The heat will be injected into the district heating circuit by recovering 21MW coming from the geothermal water cooled down from 38 degrees C to 11 degrees C.
