Rockwell’s new N-series motors are capable of providing continuous torque of 0.1 to 6.0Nm at speeds up to 6,000rpm, and are available in NEMA frame sizes 23, 34, 42 and 56. The company says that these sizes make the N-series a high performance, directly interchangeable alternative to stepper motors.
N-series motors are designed to be matched to the Allen-Bradley 1398 Ultra digital servo drives. Available in seven power ranges from 7.5A to 150A, these flexible units can handle a wide range of applications, including velocity servo drives, stepper drives or as master encoder followers.
