IBM has signed a five-year, $194 million agreement to provide electronic payments group TSYS with hardware, software and services.
TSYS, which processes credit card and other transactions, will purchase hardware including mainframes and data storage ‘Shark’ machines.
TSYS also will buy IBM’s DB2 database software as well as other software such as Content Manager, Lotus, Tivoli and WebSphere, IBM said.
The deal also includes IBM’s Global Services division, which will support software implementation and manage education and training for TSYS. In addition, TSYS will use IBM’s financing arm.
