Control Techniques says its new MiniAx/MiniMotor servo products will provide OEMs with a cost effective and simple way of improving the competitiveness of their machines.
The system is low cost, compact, simple to use, and provides high levels of performance. The company is targeting it at position control and velocity/torque loop control applications where dynamic and precise response is required.
The MiniAx servo drive offers trapezoidal, 4-quadrant control of 3-phase brushless servomotors.
MiniAx is available in two versions, both of which are designed to work with supplies from 20 to 80V DC. the two variants are rated for 5A and 10A operation, with the facility for 200% peak current for two seconds.
