Nigel Fearn has joined Comark as the new managing director. He joins from Cal Controls, which, like Comark, is a member of the newly formed Vida Group. Commenting on the move to Comark, Fearn says: ‘The company is successful, has first class products and a great management and operational team. Together we will build on the successes of the past, with particular emphasis on new product development and focused international expansion.’
New chief executive at Forsheda
John Langston has been appointed chief executive of Forsheda Polymer Engineering Group, part of the TI Group. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a graduate of the Harvard Business School, Langston spent much of his earlier career with Lucas, where he became general manager of the company’s European Car Braking Division. In 1993 he joined TI’s Bundy Group, and was chief executive of Bundy Automotive.
TEP gets its man
John Newbold has accepted the position of managing director of Taylor Engineering & Plastics. Newbold was sales director prior to his appointment, and has played a major part in TEP’s success. ‘My target now is to see TEP build on its capacity and strengths in specific services and take sales up to £20 million a year,’ he says.
