Mitsubishi’s MX SCADA software, which leapt to prominence late in 1995 with the claim of a 10-fold programming speed improvement over competing systems through Dynamic Integration, has been upgraded to Version 6.1. Based on Intellution’s The Fix, Mitsubishi claims that it’s now capable of handling large scale DCS-like systems but at SCADA/PLC prices. Further, users of non-Mitsubishi PLCs can also use MX SCADA.
