A date for your diary: Manufacturing Week

The annual industry forum opens its doors at the NEC in Birmingham this autumn with a special focus on industrial automation

Manufacturing Week takes place in Hall 1 at Birmingham’s NEC from November 7-9 this year. It is an ideal forum for factory automation featuring robotics, machine vision and system integrators.

The automation element of the show will seek to provide a forum where production engineers can meet with providers of turnkey automation solutions, system integrators, individual component suppliers and control system manufacturers.

Among those exhibiting this year will be Flexlink, Cognex, AEA Technology and the UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA). Cognex, the UK’s largest Industrial Vision Systems company, will be displaying its complete range of Industrial Vision Systems, the highlight of which will be live conveyor demonstrations of Checkpoint and In-Sight 2000.

The UKIVA’s Vison Information Point offers information on automated vision systems from any of its 65 members. Five member companies will be represented on the stand along with the UKIVA.

Manufacturing Week incorporates the Design Engineering Show (DES), Production, and Automation and Vehicle Engineering & Design (VE&D). It is co-located once again with Computers in Manufacturing (CIM), Tooling and Pre-owned Production Equipment (PPE).

The exhibition, which provides the UK’s largest industry forum for the manufacturing industry, is organised by Reed Exhibition Companies.
