The magnetic sensor IC is suited to linear and rotary position sensing systems in harsh automotive and industrial environments. It produces a linear, ratiometric rail-to-rail output voltage proportional to the applied magnetic field and has output sensitivity of 2.5mV/Gs. The device incorporates a single magnetic sensing Hall element, a high-gain amplifier and a voltage regulator.
