BP has agreed to sell some of its southern North Sea gas assets to Ireland-based Tullow Oil for £201m. The sale consists mainly of interests held by the former Atlantic Richfield Company (Arco) in pipelines, facilities and associated fields and is being undertaken to comply with undertakings BP gave to the European Commission in return for the go-ahead to take over Arco.
