M2 Systems Stand 637

M2 Systems offers JD Edwards `Idea to Action’ software for enterprise and supply chain management. The JD Edwards OneWorld ERP package is coupled with the Numetrix supply chain solution, ActiveEra for e-business and Siebel Systems front-office CRM suite, all aimed at small and medium-sized organisations.

Macola Stand 447

Macola Progression software features modules for accounts, distribution, manufacturing and service management, with sound inventory control. Macola offers systems to a wide range of companies from discrete manufacturers to process industry. New products will include visual basic for applications, and service management software for Microsoft SQL Server.

Mansys Stands 1467/1459

Mansys will show Key Production Systems (KPS), a modular system for shop-floor data collection in the tooling industry. Mansys is working with Hyde Precision Components, a manufacturer of precision machined aircraft components, to develop a system which can monitor the process remotely.

MAPS Stand 1750

Manufacturing Products & Services (MAPS) will be demonstrating Fourman, an enterprise resource planning system which offers an integrated Product Planners Workbench/On-line Scheduler, and an integrated or stand-alone machine/process monitoring package.

Map80 Systems Stand 1568

Map80 Systems is launching Prism32 labelling software, Sato thermal transfer printers and QLS colour label printers, for use in manufacturing, packaging, auto-identification and barcoding.

Marcam Solutions Stand 620

Marcam shows the Protean ERP system, for use in the food, beverage, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Latest version is Protean 3.1, which offers real-time access to a wider array of manufacturing data from a host of sources throughout the enterprise. It has powerful new costing features, as well as enhancements to inventory, planning, production, customer order management, financial and asset management.

Match-IT Stand 1031

Match-IT’s manufacturing management system is a new Windows-based production control system developed specifically developed for small make-to-order manufacturers.

MAX International Stand 618

MAX International offers an integrated package of ERP business systems for medium to large companies. MAX is available in Unix or Windows NT versions and has been developed in a 4GL environment utilising RDBMS’s Informix, Oracle and Microsoft’s SQL Server. Modules include business simulation, forecasting, schedule management with EDI, product data management, sales configuration, inventory management, distribution and accounts.

McGuffie Brunton Stand 320

McGuffie Brunton is to show Version 5.0 of ERP package Impact Encore from Syspro, which offers full integration with Microsoft BackOffice tools and will be fully compatible with the forthcoming Windows 2000 operating system.

MCL Solutions Stand 1538

MCL Solutions will show two Teksoft CADCAM products: ProCAM 2000 which can generate complex CNC programmes, and CAMWorks, an advanced computer-aided manufacturing package which is fully integrated to operate within the SolidWorks environment, to generate toolpaths.

Mentecaptus Stand 1628

Mentecaptus distributes the FastPoint Light Pen which provides an alternative to the touch screen, keyboard, track-ball or mouse. The FP-2000 has a universal serial board interface for compatibility with any application.

Microsoft Stand 802

Microsoft and five vendor partners will demonstrate how manufacturers can implement an integrated information management system that spans their entire enterprise. The initiative integrates the products of ERP vendor Baan, hyperrelational database specialist TopTier Software, Wonderware plant management software, industrial communications from Phoenix Contact, PC manufacturer Compaq and Microsoft’s Digital Nervous System.

Minerva Industrial Systems Stand 1040

Minerva is the largest European distributor for QAD’s MFG/PRO ERP system. Version V9.0 offers more supply chain functions, new advanced planning and scheduling functions and decision support tools. V9.0 provides e-business and customer relationship management (CRM) applications for use on the internet and intranets. The new enterprise application integration system XHQ will also make its debut at CIM99.

Miracle Group Stand 638

Miracle Group provides a range of services from consultancy to project management and implementation assistance for applications including: ERP systems from Baan, Glovia, OMAC and Efacs; the Navision management system; Vista jobbing system; EMCS PDM; Synquest for supply chain management and the Astec imaging system. Miracle will be launching version 3 of EMCS’s PDM and Navision’s manufacturing modules.

Motherwell Information Systems Stand 720

Motherwell Information Systems offers ERP implementation services, application development and systems engineering for mid-market organisations, based on Oracle applications and SAP R/3. The company also offers development services for web-based solutions and systems engineering for real-time facility automation, data acquisition and vendor managed inventory.
