QAD Stand 120

ERP developer and supplier QAD will launch version 9.0 of MFG/PRO ERP software, which offers a complete e-commerce system, and QAD Decision Support, an executive information system tool. Both systems are targeted at manufacturing companies operating in the automotive, medical, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, industrial and electrical industries.

Quality Manufacturing Systems Stand 360

QMS will demonstrate Version 8 of the Jobshop ERP system designed for the make-to-order company. The latest release features new planning boards, a new product generator, integration with Exchequer accounting software, enhanced engineering change management and additional purchasing quality functions.

Quick Controls Stand 1060

Quick Controls is to launch a new colour touch control system, to meet the needs of OEM machinery manufacturers and control and automation engineers. Quick offers a range of touch control systems, I/O modules and a new I/O controller.

Radan Computational Stand 1230

Radan is to introduce a new version of its Radraft 2D draughting system, a new Radesign 3D solid modelling system and the Radben automated 3D sheet metal design system. There will also be demonstrations of Radpunch and Radprofile sheet metal CAM programming systems, Nesting software for automatic component nesting, estimating package e21, and Radview products for distributing drawings and other data formats.

Resolution Stand 1018

Resolution will be demonstrating the integration of Solid Edge 3D solids modeller with DataSpace, its own engineering document/parts data management system. DataSpace provides automated drawing registers, issue control, bill of material extraction and extensive search tools.

Rhombus Stand 357

Rhombus will show the Rhombus Factory Information System, a fully- integrated production control system designed for piece-part manufacturers. Target markets include manufacturers of turned parts, plastic mouldings, presswork and packaging.

Rittal Stand 1667

Rittal offers EPLAN electrical plant design software for electrical control designers. The software can reduce control design costs through generation of complete documentation. A new product, EPLAN Compact, has also been developed for smaller firms.

Riva Business Solutions Stand 331

Riva Business Solutions is to announce a new partnership with Belgium-based ERP vendor VDS-Computing, the European partner of eXegeSys. RIVA is to show the eXegetic resource planning package, a fully customisable ERP system, and will also launch RIVA n-RG, a fully-featured ERP package tailored for the SME market.

Rockwell Automation Stand 840

Rockwell Automation will introduce new products RSHistorian – a data logging, reporting and analysis package – and RSPocketLogix7, a Windows CE-based package which is used with a hand-held PC for portable shopfloor maintenance and troubleshooting. To demonstrate enterprise integration, the stand will be divided into several areas representing a typical manufacturing enterprise.

Ross Systems Stand 550

Ross Systems will show Renaissance ERP software for optimising customer service, control inventories and streamlining operations, for manufacturers in the food and drink sectors. A virtual reality simulation of the factory of the future will be displayed.

Sanderson Stand 500

Sanderson will unveil the latest PICS Windows-based ERP system, an integrated system which provides a complete digital information backbone from the shopfloor to the boardroom.

SAS Stand 420

SAS Insititute will display the SAS solution for Supplier Relation Management, which consolidates and classifies purchasing data; SAS Intelligent Warehousing for enterprise resource planning systems, which combines ERP and non-ERP data in a data warehouse and has a complete suite of analytical tools from OLAP; plus data mining and SAS Quality Data Warehousing.

Schneider Electric Stand 950

Industrial control and automation supplier Schneider is developing new ethernet and internet-based products for web-enabled control of factories. New products will include a web server module; a 100MHz ethernet module; a Momentum processor with embedded ethernet and a DIN rail-mounted Modbus-ethernet bridge; and a new approach to software configuration for process/batch solutions called One Step.

SDRC Stand 1420

SDRC is to introduce Release 4 of I-DEAS Artisan, its Windows-NT-based 3D CAD/CAM software, which offers dynamic data sharing for multiple users. Enhancements include surfacing, machining and mould tool design capabilities. SDRC will also show I-DEAS Master Series 7 design, manufacturing and production simulation software.

Shuttleworth Business Systems Stand 1458

Shuttleworth is to display the new Shuttleworth Manufacturing System targeted at small and medium-sized manufacturing companies.
