If you get lost with some of the acronyms used in communications and computer technology, this book should help you unscramble some of the maze – however complex.

Around 200 pages are devoted solely to definitions – some well known and some rather obscure. Would you have known, for example, that a Ping is a Packet Internet Groper, or that there were three types of SAP?

No doubt if you read C&I carefully you would come up with a few more acronyms. In fact we spot-checked a few, such as STEP and DCS – and found that they were missing!

If you are looking at Information Technology, there is a very good trends section at the end.
