Druck Holdings plc has acquired the share capital of GLA Elettronica who are based in Milan, Italy. The deal will amount to a total consideration of £530,000. GLA Elettronica manufactures and sells electronic pressure and temperature measurement and calibration devices and previously supplied electronic indicators to the Druck group.

The Druck group of companies now comprises 14 subsidiaries worldwide to include sensors, portable field calibrators, primary or secondary standards and aviation ground support equipment. Increased profits for the last fiscal year reflects the company’s continuous growth. A recent order has been placed which includes sensors for the Eurofighter aircraft, initially valued at £1 million. “Elettronica will provide a flexible and cost effective manufacturing capability for products which are complementary to the group’s range of indicators and field calibrators”, said John Salmon, Chairman of Elettronica.
