Warwick-based Durr UK, the supplier of automotive paint shop systems which recently merged with Inlac, has appointed Frank Clancy (former director of Inlac UK) as a director.
Gary Prince, who was operations manager at Durr’s paint applications division, takes over responsibility for the Inlac operations at Coleshill, near Birmingham, as general manager of a new Durr business unit specialising in paint circulation systems.
Holden & Brooke, the Manchester pump group, has appointed three new senior managers, all of whom have worked at Brook Hansen, the electric motors division of BTR.
David Hall joins Holden & Brooke as product manager, Ajit Nijjar as works general manager and Jane Dawson as commercial director.
Mira, the automotive research and development business, has appointed a director of research.
Dr Vincent Considine joins from Brown & Root, the US-owned infrastructure group, where he was responsible for train control systems. He has also worked for Thorn EMI Electronics, Texas Instruments, Plessey Research and British Aerospace.
Per Staehr has taken over from Stig Svard as chief executive officer and country manager of Adtranz UK & Ireland. Svard is due to retire this year. Staehr, a professional engineer, joins Adtranz after having worked at AP Moeller Group since 1973, where he was president of Maersk Contractors.
Fisher-Rosemount Systems has appointed Ian Wright as business director for the UK. A graduate engineer, Wright formerly worked for Pilkington and Laparte and Yokogawa. Chris Crowther has been appointed to the new position of business director total service, and Geoff Flisher, previously business manager for Fisher-Rosemount’s measurement division, has been made UK valve business director at Fisher Controls.
Paul Theobald has been promoted from works manager to the newly created position of production director at Gatehouse Industrial Services, the Mildenhall-based designer and manufacturer of ophthalmic instruments and metal enclosures and sub-assemblies.
Bob D’Sa has joined Molins as managing director of the tobacco machinery division’s original equipment business.
He has held senior positions at Bridon and GE Lighting.
