ELECTRICAL ENCLOSURES

Boxing clever with conduit offcuts

Two lid profiles convert conduit (typically offcuts) into purpose built electrical boxes using Machine Building System’s Item anodised aluminium range.

Angled at 45 and 20 , lids can be used to mount lights, pushbuttons and switches to make an operator console. Standard boxes are expensive and rarely fit the space, resulting in clumsy extra panel work.

Safety in confined spaces is the theme of Emka’s latest Swing handles aimed at panel builders. Suitable for small cabinets, the 1150 series has a low profile pop-out swing handle in an escutcheon 9mm deep, 120mm high and 36mm wide. A 45 offset on the rod mechanism increases rod extension and reduces the force needed to operate the handle.

Designed for safety and style, the 2100 series Swing handle has a 7mm escutcheon and is sealed to IP65.

The handle accepts various lock cylinders and key profiles.
