Engineers at Rolls-Royce’s Derby aeroengine plant are again being targeted by North American headhunters. But they may not be offering enough to tempt staff to quit.
Pratt & Whitney Canada has advertised for designers and engineers to `join our cutting-edge team and help create the next generation of new and derivative aero gas turbine engines’.
One recruitment consultant said the company was `on the prowl for performance, combustion and vibration engineers’ to move to Quebec for a salary of £24,000-£33,000 and relocation expenses. Interviews will be held in Derby next month.
