Getting connected from CAN and Foundation Fieldbus (FF) devices to the PC world just got easier. National’s latests are: PCI- and ISA-based Windows NT/95 compatible PC to CAN devices; and Windows NT PCMCIA PC Card to FF interfaces.

You can easily incorporate National’s PCI-CAN and AT-CAN in applications using CANopen, DeviceNet and SDS; its NI-CAN driver provides a high level API. Meanwhile, the PCMCIA-FBUS interface lets you connect laptops to fieldbus networks.

National’s also brought out an FF configurator – a 32 bit Windows application with all the tools. You can get this separately, or bundled with PCMCIA-FBUS, or bundled with AT-FBUS.
