Government gives green light for power station at Rhosgoch

The Government has given the green light for a 560MW gas-fired power station at Rhosgoch on the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales. The Department of Trade and Industry rejected the plan last year, but energy minister Helen Liddell said new proposals met local and environmental concerns. The power station will be built by Burlington Resources.
