A £2.5m, 10-year contract to ensure the Ministry of Defence complies with new European safety directives has been awarded to IT systems company ICL. The CD-Rom information system due to become operational in the autumn will detail safety procedures to defence staff who handle munitions, radioactive and other hazardous products.
