Honda is to cut production at its Swindon plant to 100,000 cars this year – a 13% reduction, and not 50% as reported in some sections of the press. Honda said the cut was due to disruption caused by installation work on a new and more efficient production line and falling sales of its Civic model, due to be replaced later this year.
