Control systems and process system integration are getting their own area at this year’s Computers in Manufacturing Show (NEC, 4-6 November). Dubbed Control Systems Integration, it forms a substantial part of CIM 97 in Hall 3A, which takes place alongside the Manufacturing Week show.

And with names like ABB Industrial Systems, Fisher-Rosemount, Foxboro, Cegelec, Wonderware, Pantek, Nemasoft, Pronexus, Siemens and Mitsubishi taking space, CSI97 promises to be a well worthwhile visit (see the Sys.Build preview next month).

* Independent Exhibitions tells us that it’s now partnering with manufacturing software specialist, Interactive to develop a fully interactive visitor centre – with on-line search engines covering most product criteria.
