Kewill, the e-commerce and enterprise software specialist, saw pre-tax profits fall almost 28% to £7.54m in the year to the end of March. The fall came despite a 25% hike in sales to £75.2m, mostly on the success of its enterprise resource planning business. The company, which has a customer base of 47,000 firms including Sony, BP Amoco and Toys R Us, claims it is well placed to exploit what it calls unprecedented business-to-business e-commerce opportunities.
