Ciro Soares has been made president, Latin America, for Bundy International, the world-wide refrigeration specialist. The move follows the promotion of Eduardo Moraes to managing director, Europe, Middle East and Africa of Forsheda Polymer Engineering, a major division within parent TI Group. Bundy has also appointed Walter Serer as president of the automotive division, Bundy International in Latin America.
Falmouth in Cornwall based Watson-Marlow Pumps has appointed Richard Green as senior product manager. He was previously product manager at IMI Cornelius.

Dr Michael Rodd, past head of the School of Engineering at the University of Wales Swansea has joined the Institution of Electrical Engineers as deputy secretary designate. He takes over from Professor Philip Secker who retires next year.
Rodd was managing director of Wales-based company MiTime, established to transfer technology from universities to industry, until this move to the IEE.

Philip Kitson is to step down as non-executive director in September while David Sankey has joined, also as a non-executive director. Sankey has worked at GKN and General Motors, and is a director of Sumit Equity Ventures.

Ex-Australian diplomat Dr Trevor Findlay has taken up the role of executive director of Vertic, the verification technology information centre, from Dr Patricia Lewis who is to take up the position of director of the UN Institute for Disarmament Research in Geneva.
