MACH 2000: SAWING, CUTTING, FILING

BLM-Adige: Stand 4668

Lasertube LT651 is Adige’s latest solution for tube cutting and processing. LT651 enables virtually any profile, however complex, to be machined whether on the end of a tube or along its length. It is suited to the laser working of most tube shapes, including round, square, rectangular, oval and flat oval.

Tube capacity of the machine is between 12mm2 and 100mm2 for square tube and between 15mm by 20mm and 70mm by 120mm for rectangular and oval stock.

Rivers Machinery: Stand 5504

A completely new design of bandsawing machine from Kasto will be shown at MACH by Rivers. Called Kastotec, the machine made its world debut at the last EMO in Paris. While suitable for use with bimetal blades, Kastotec has been developed for high production sawing using tungsten-carbide tipped blades.

Sales of this type of blade are increasing as manufacturers discover that titanium may be cut seven times faster and steel three times faster than with conventional blades.
