Model 3640 ozone analyser from Orbisphere claims to be the first gas-sensing system to use opto-acoustic spectroscopy (OAS) technology. This method can be used to detect most gases or vapours, except biatomic gases. The analyser measures samples containing from 50ppm by volume to as high as 30% by weight of ozone, and is said to offer numerous advantages over existing UV sensing techniques.
