As the perfect antidote to the gloom being propogated about manufacturing industry The Engineer and its sister titles are hosting a celebration of the success of the UK’s technology-led companies this autumn.

Our annual gala dinner on the 19 September in London is crunch time for the shortlisted companies for the Manufacturing Industry Achievement Awards 2000. The MIAAs, sponsored by Omron, NSK-RHP, and consultancy Oliver Wight are now in their seventh year. The awards are organised by Centaur Publishing, owner of The Engineer. Categories for 2000 include Emerging Company of the Year, Supply Chain Excellence Award, and Environmentalist of the Year.

If you think your company has proved that it has created value through innovation in the past year, then you should definitely enter. Deadline is 21 July.
