Ministry of Defence needs new fuselages

The Ministry of Defence said it will need new rear fuselages for the RAF’s Harrier II GR7 attack aircraft because the current ones will not last until the Harrier’s out-of-service date, around 2005. The aircraft is likely to be replaced by the US Joint Strike Fighter in 2012-15.
