Paymaster general Geoffrey Robinson MP, is just one of the high profile speakers confirmed for Manufacturing in Question, a live debate forum based on BBC TV’s Question Time at Mach 98. The UK’s leading machine tool and manufacturing technology exhibition is being held at the NEC, Birmingham from 27 April to 1 May.

The debate, on Tuesday 28 April, is once again being held in conjunction with The Engineer, and promises visitors a lively discussion of the latest issues affecting manufacturing industry.

Also confirmed for the panel are Sir Geoffrey Owen, former editor of the Financial Times; Cheryl Gillan MP, Conservative spokeswoman for small business; and Richard Butcher, president of the Machine Tool Technologies Association.

Readers of The Engineer, together with all visitors to Mach 98, are invited to send questions for the panel to answer on the day and, if you wish, to come along as part of the studio audience and put your question to the panel in person.
