Festo has introduced an interactive self learning package to complement its Fluid Sim program, released last year to enable easy design and simulation of circuit diagrams. The package, named Fliud Studio, is available in two versions; one for the fundamentals of pneumatics and one for the fundamentals of hydraulics. The software can be used instead if attending a seminar as it offers clear user guidance with the user controlling the program’s speed and sequence. The company claim that the software increases attention by over two and a half times compared to conventional instructor learning and reduces the learning curve by up to 75%.
