Elantic, the Bury-based specialist supplier of systems for the paper industry, has appointed Allan Holder (above left) as vice chairman and Arthur Wilson as a director. Holder founded the Holder Group in 1968, while Wilson was previously sales director of Simon Holder.
UKAEA has appointed Dr John Crofts as director of safety and environment. Crofts is director of safety for Hunting Brae. He will replace Dr Richard Peckover who becomes chief safety adviser.
Dave Smith, president of Marathon Oil UK, takes over as president of the UK Offshore Operators’ Association from 1 April. He replaces Francis Gugen who relinquishes the UKOOA presidency on his departure from Amerada Hess at the end of March.
