Rolls-Royce notched up more than $1.6bn worth of deals at the Farnborough 2000 air show. Business placed with the company included an agreement with Boeing confirming the Trent 600 engine in future developments of the Boeing 747 and 767, Singapore Airlines’ conversion of three options for Trent 800-powered Boeing 777s into firm orders worth $90m and orders for the AE 3007 engine worth almost $1.3bn.
