Apcims, a trade association representing London brokers working on private client accounts has questioned the planned merger of the London and Frankfurt stock exchanges, to be called iX. Apcims wants time to consider the merger’s implications before London Stock Exchange shareholders vote in mid-September. Apcims said plans to split iX into blue-chip and high-tech sectors need careful examination.
